    Summoner Information Guide:

    Important Terms:

    Summoner: A being who can call upon the powers of summon spirits. These are humanoid beings with certain traits that allow them to form pacts with said summons.

    Summon Spirits: A being made of mana, who usual controls a element of the world. Naturally they are non-corporeal beings, as such can't change any part of the world directly. When having a pact with a summoner, they become corporeal and can directly affect their element.

    Pact: The agreement between a summoner and a summon spirit to cooperate and depend on each other to reach a certain promised goal.

    Dais: A platform made of unknown material, which can concentrate a Summon Spirit into a physical form for short periods of time.

    Summoner Information Guide Empty Normal Summon System

    Normal Summon System

    Summoner:

    A Summoner is a being that has the power to call upon summon spirits. It is a rare gift given only to a very few humanoids of the world. And more often then not, the summoner is a kind hearted human. It is unknown why this is such, but known evidence has proved it to be the case.

    Two hundred years ago, the summoner was a male. He was in his middle teens, and had an affinity for trying to save people. Not much is known about his life.

    The current summoner is a white haired girl by the name of Fate Thetore. She too is in her middle teens. Fate often hesitates and extremely dislikes when anyone around her gets hurt. She has a high affinity for magic, and is capable of becoming a great mage one day. While she excels in attack magics, she desperately wants to learn healing magics. She has an unique knack which tends to convince people to trust and protect her.

    In conclusion, a summoner is a mortal being with the ability to call upon summon spirits.

    Summon Spirits:

    A Summon Spirit is a being which only half exists in the world. Thus they are called Spirits. Spirits cannot interact directly with the world, and can observe things in fragments. They do not age, but they can change their appearance at will.

    A Summon Spirit is born from a highly concentrated area of mana. While the exact process, and mana required is unknown, a summon spirit is usually always formed.

    As a spirit is born it takes on an element of the world. In the beginning there were ten. These ten controlled the elements of fire, air, water, earth, light, dark, nature, gravity, moon, and sun. They are known to be pillars of the world, and balance everything within it. As time went by other summons were born, ones such as electricity, sound, and different types of elements such as justice, and freedom.

    Spirits share the pain of the world, and work together in order to maintain a balance so life can continue to exist. They are the final guardians of the world.

    The Dais System:

    A uncountable time ago, during the reign of the Draconis Race. A great many mages set up posts all over the world. In a signal campaign to allow Summon Spirits greater freedom with the world. Each of these posts resembled a dais, and each one connected to the half world the summon spirits lived in.

    The original goal of this system was to create gateways in which both mortal beings and spirits could travel to each others worlds. Soon after the effect of the campaign cooled down, the results had not gone according to plan. Instead of gateways, they became like windows. They allowed for summons to form a physical body when connected to it, and allowed the two races to talk.

    A side effect of this campaign was a rare gene that could be found within mortals. This gene allowed a person to make a pact with a spirit and allow the spirit a physical form that didn't rely on the dais. These genes holders became to be known as Summoners, and Spirits came to be known as Summon Spirits. It was a beneficial relationship for both races.

    Pacts:

    A Pact is a promise between a summoner and a spirit to reach an agreed upon goal. While this goal can change, the pact will remain as long as both of them continue to agree with each others motives.

    A pact making process begins when a summoner steps onto a dais. Depending on the spirit, it will appear right away, or the summoner must call the spirit to appear before them. Upon the two meeting, a variety of things may happen. This all depends on the summoner's heart, and the spirit's state of mind.

    A spirit might allow a pact with not a single word being uttered. The two might come to an agreement after talking. Or the spirit will ask for a show of proof that they are worthy of making the pact.

    After the agreement is reached, the spirit will present an orb to the summoner. This orb is made for a small piece of the spirit's being, and will connect the two, so long as the pact remains true.

    Once the pact is made, the summoner can call upon the spirit at any time or place, for use of their power.

    Dark Summon System

    Dark Summoner:

    A Summoner is a being that has the power to call upon summon spirits. It is a rare gift given only to a very few humanoids of the world. But sometimes there are other ways to obtain the powers of the summoner. One way is through the Dark Summons. These dark summoners do not need the summoner gene.

    More often then not, dark summoners are mortals whose desire for power, have driven them to the point of madness. Through dark summons they chip away their life in exchange for power. They often don't care for life, and fight only for themselves.

    The only known current Dark Summoner is a man named by Namaru. He claims that his master sent him to make the pacts, but the truth is unknown.

    Dark Summon Spirits:

    A Summon Spirit is a being which only half exists in the world. As a spirit is born it takes on an element of the world. In the beginning there were ten. These ten controlled the elements of fire, air, water, earth, light, dark, nature, gravity, moon, and sun. They are known to be pillars of the world, and balance everything within it. Spirits share the pain of the world, and work together in order to maintain a balance so life can continue to exist. They are the final guardians of the world.

    But a handful of Summon Spirits rejected this destiny. They led a rebellion to try and gain freedom. During this rebellion they no longer cared about the world, they merely wanted to live without constraints, even if the world was destroyed.

    Dark Summons are often ruthless and unforgiving.

    The Dark Dais System:

    With the rebellion of the dark summons the mages of the world realized if it continued, it could rip apart the very world. With the help of a few remaining Draconis mages, they began work on the dark dais system. This system adjusted a few existing dais, one for each rebelling spirit. These adjusted dais trapped the rebel spirits within the set locations and cut them off from the original system.

    The rebel spirits were no longer able to rebel and thus fell into the dark loneliness of their own fates.

    As a safe guard these dais don't respond to the summoner's gene. But as a result, any other being can activate them, and perform the blood pact.

    Blood Pacts:

    Being a rebel spirit, dark summons for the most part, hate everything. Even those that give them the slightest bit a freedom. As such the dark dais system makers, choice to place the blood pact as the needed pact for dark summons. Since they thought that anyone seeking their power would also be as evil as them.

    The blood pact itself is a ritual in which the dark summon gives a piece of itself to the pact maker. Once this piece has bonded with the pact maker it slowly eats away at their body and soul. So the pact maker slowly begins to weaken and die.

    Summoner Information Guide Empty Free Summon Spirits

    Free Summon System

    Free Summon Spirits:

    Of all the Spirits that formed and came into existence, the most curious of the natural summons, are the Free Summons. These spirits have what the dark summons had always wanted, they live freely, with the ability to travel to the summon spirit world and the normal world. These summons spirits have what is known as lives. With each "life" they live, they are given a new body, and a new beginning. They lose their memories of their last life, and begin anew.

    Each free spirit does whatever they want, and have never been known to work towards a conclusive goal.

    Pacts:

    While being free, Free Spirits can make pacts. But like dark summons, their pacts are dangerous. It is unknown why, but pacts with free spirits slowly drain away a person's mana. The only known way to break these pacts are for the free spirit to die. Resulting in their lives being reset.

    Summoner Information Guide Empty Pseudo Pacts

    Pseudo Pacts:

    For the most part, Pacts have only been known to be between Summon Spirits and their contracted Summoner. To a rare few of summoner's another ability has been discovered. This a process for forming Pseudo Pacts. Pseudo pacts allow a regular person to call upon the powers of a summon spirit.

    To form a pact like this, the summoner, summon spirit, and the person to receive the pact, must all be in agreement. The Summoner bridge's the two and forms the Pseudo pact. Once this is formed the Pseudo pact lasts for a few years. In order for the person to use the pact though, the summoner must validate them. After which, the person can access the summon's power, and a few different possibilities can present.

    The first of which is that the summon and holder, share thoughts. They can instantly know what the other does and work as a perfect team.

    The second is the use of summon pacific weapons. The Holder can form and use their weapons. This includes the summon's battle weapons. Such as Cloud's Armor.

    The Third and rarest case, is the fusion of the Holder and Summon. While this is temporary, the two become one being with a massive increase of power.

    Beyond all that is said, the summoner can only perform one Pseudo pact once with each summon and holder. Though once the Pseudo pact is broken, the summoner can do it again. The summoner can also form a Pseudo pact with themselves. This skips over the need to validate, and greater increases the sync of the two.
