The Town:

Great Being of Mana, origin of Summon Spirits, and Life.
A bluish colour flew through the darkness. Stars passing by. The cloud of energy was enormous, and could easily swallow planets. It wandered aimlessly through space.
After a long time the energy began to condense. In the distance a planet could be seen, and the blue was heading straight for it.
The blue mass went into orbit around the barren planet. It acted like a moon. For a long time nothing happened. After a long time the blue began to react, and from it millions of small blue orbs fell to the planet. Landing randomly across the world.
The blue orbs became absorbed into the earth and vanished.
This process lasted an unknown time frame.
During which the planet began to show signs of life. Water slowly started to form and puddles came of that. The groundwork of all water systems was started.
Soon the world was plentiful in water, and green began to appear. Same plants began growing.
A greater time passes.
The blue being's form begins to become less condensed. From it shoots 10 different colours orbs. They landed evenly spaced out around the world.
The blue being took one last look at the world. Turned, and returned to it's endless journey.
Cyril's illusion dissipated. "What I showed you, is a representation of the great being of mana. It bestowed upon this world, everything needed for life. Then it simply left."
"The last ten things it sent to the surface were concentrated mana. From these the first ten summon spirits formed. They are fire, air, water, earth, light, dark, nature, gravity, moon, and sun. They are the most powerful summons. Summons who rarely are combined with a dais." Hanako expanded. "They were guardians the great being of mana left to protect the world, and see life flourish. The rest of the summons formed from other concentrations of mana, and a few others were made by some of the races. Though it was still from condensed mana."
"So summon spirits are born from high concentrations of mana." Val thought aloud. "That would clearly explain why you don't have physical forms, and summoners concentrate your mana into physical forms. When high level magicians can summon a summon spirit easily if they know how." Val began to over think. He brought out several books from his bag, read from two and wrote in another.

Plane Shift: The Upper and Lower Planes.
Angels and demons have warred for the longer part of eternity. The battlefield was always the Middle Plane. Instead of the same battlefield for that length of time, there is the unstoppable phenomenon known as the Plane Shift.
This Plane Shift occurs between every 1000 and 6000 years. A Plane Shift changes the Planet in which the Lower and Upper Realms can access. As such after a Plane Shift, the Middle Plane planet cannot reach either of the other planes.
Any beings from the Upper or Lower Realm become trapped on the middle plane planet, if they do not return to the the other realms before a planet shift. It is rare for the same planet to become the result of a plane shift twice. Since there are an infinite number of planets, and that the Plane Shift is random.
