    Races Explained Empty Natural Races

    Humans:

    Element: Fire

    Traits: Adaptable, Cunning, Persistent, and Emotional.

    Overview:
    The most common species of humanoid on the planet. This race is known for it's ability to adapt to any environment.
    Well one of the most violent races, it is capable of compassion far greater then any other race. The range of emotions this race can feel is extremely large.
    Able to come up with a solution to almost any problem, this race is considered cunning.

    Future:
    Because of their traits, humans are regarded as the greatest threat to the other races. This has caused much prejudice against them, and has led to many wars with the other races. But despite this, the races wars with itself the most often. Often leading the other races to believe they'll wipe themselves out one day.

    Elves:

    Element: Wind

    Traits: Smart, Long-lived, Wise, and Accepting of Nature.

    Overview:
    The race is known for it's longevity. Living an average of 500 year life spans. But able to live up to a known record of 1024 years. They were one of the first modern races. They love to collect knowledge and learn from past mistakes. Elves are the only known race that can stop human without violence. In countless exchanges between the two races, the only times war broke between them, was when the elves did not try to negotiate.
    The main area for the Elves is an ancient forest in the Medius Alliance. The scared forest is like a holy land for them, and they protect it with their lives.
    Elves' hair colour is never certain. Unlike the other races, which rely on genes for hair colour. Elven hair colour is decided by their mana.

    Future:
    A race who doesn't like to war, or expand. It seems as long as their homeland stands, they'll keep existing. Even if the rest of the world fell, with their forest they would survive.

    Demons:

    Element: Darkness

    Traits: Tricky, Strong, Long Wolf, and Hateful.

    Overview:
    Demons are often feared by all the races. For they have the ability to shift their form and disguise themselves as a being on another race. It's said they originated from the Lower Realm, and have undergone an evolution that made them different. But this is unknown to be true or not.
    Every demon has a feature, or extra body part that resembles an animal. But they can disguise this with their nature shape shifting ability.
    Because of the prejudiced from the other races, demons have come to hate them, and often found killing them at will. With the ability to use their own kind of demon magic, it is hard to stop a demon. But because of past events, demons rarely travel in group. Their pure blood numbers have dwindled, and are spread across the globe.

    Future:
    The future for Demons is a bleak one, and yet it seems they will survive in or form or another. From observations, it is believed eventually demons will mix enough with another race, that a new race will be born to replace them.

    Hutal:

    Element: Water

    Traits: Indifferent, Calm, Logical, and Friendly.

    Overview:
    The Hutal are a content race. Preferring to stay within the Medius Alliance borders. They always do whatever they are ordered to and do it with haste. They are hard working and diligent. They usually calculate odds and events to decide what their next course of action is. The Hutal aren't know for being able to feel many emotions. They feel mostly content, without many other emotions. Rarely does a Hutal know or understand love, loss, or exhaustion. They don't need much sleep or food to survive either. Many Hutal are naive, and can easily be swayed to join people who approach them. They usually cannot distinguish what the other races call good or evil. Some Hutal for no reason decide to travel with someone they met, no matter how brief the meeting was. It's unknown why they do this, but it's believed it's some kind of hormone attraction.
    The Hutal appearance is widely known for their eyes. No matter what age or gender, they all have a eye colour in the range from yellow to red. Most having orange eyes. The most common hair colour for them is silverish gray. They have two long thin wings on their lower back, near their waist. Hutal usually wraps these wings around their waist as a habit. These wings do not allow the Hutal the ability for flight, and is unknown what they are for. But most Hutal feel a sense of pleasure when these wings are touched by another. For the young, old (and few special cases) it's just like the feeling of a light massage, while for most of the rest it approaches a sexual feeling, and for a rare few it can give the highest type of sexual feeling. This is more common when people the Hutal like are touching their wings.
    The Hutal were once believed to be among one of the breeds, but no other animal on the planet shared simliar qualities, so it was determined that they were a separate race altogether. It seems the Hutal are genetically slave like. The low amount of food and rest they need is astounding when compared to the amount of non-stop work they are capable of. It appears that their unique metabolism allows for this. Once the Hutal had been slaves, and were freed a few hundred years before the ancient hero's journey. Since then the Hutal have slowly evolving, and will one day be able to be dependant. For right now though, a Medius Alliance council oversees the Hutal relations. This council is made up of mostly elves and human.

    Future:
    From the current progress that the Hutal are evolving, it is believed they'll become an dependent race within 23 of their generations.

    Prime (Hutal):

    Element: Water

    Traits: Strong, Athletic, Loyal and Determined.

    Overview:
    Hutal is a very interesting race. Within it are many subcategories in their race. One is known as Prime. Prime are beings that are extremely well trained in physical combat. It is believed that Prime Hutal pass their skills down directly to their children through their genes. Since Prime children can usually fight experiences warriors in an equal battle. Most Prime are sword focused, and few wield other types weapons.
    Unlike their Hutal brethren, Prime are capable of a far greater emotional range. They are also very loyal and trustworthy. They follow a base code of loyalty, that they never turn against. If they find out their current master is going against this code, they will turn against them. They believe in fair fights, and rarely attack anyone who is unready to fight.
    So while Hutal were bred like slaves, it seems Prime were bred as warriors. Considering the evidence and the past of their culture, this is believed to be the case.
    Prime have a different appearance, then the regular Hutal. They don't have the trademark wings on their waists, but instead have long fur covered ears. These ears help in hearing beyond what normal humanoids can. Also unlike Hutal, Prime's eye and hair colour can vary greatly. Even when children are born, they rarely look like their parents. It's unknown how this occurs.

    Future:
    While bred to be warriors, Prime are an usually peace people. They are capable of living without fighting. So while this race won't start any wars, they will continue to fight for justice. It's certain they will always be around.

    Orcs:

    Element: Wood

    Traits: Strong, Stupid, Warlike, and Fast Breeding.

    Overview:
    Once a race who had majority control of the world at a point in time, they had fallen due to the rise of Humans. Due to their nature, they war unceasing on humans. While humans invented new and better weapons to defend themselves, the Orcs never tried to make progress. Thus humans had the advantage, and pushed these species to the brink of extinction.
    But the Orcs survived in a single jungle, and remained there, and did not try to attack the other races. This was true until the Warlord's rise, which brought the Orcs back to war. But shortly after they were brought to the brink of extinction again.
    Orcs are unable to use magic in anyway, shape, or form. The single exception to this is Orc half breeds. While usually killed off for being weak, these half breeds can change very Orc nature, and become stronger then any Orc. But few survive childhood, and most who do, run from the race.

    Future:
    Thanks to the efforts of Terra, the new Warlord. The race has calmed down much, and has begun rebuilding. Terra is attempting to change the Orcs' nature, and it is unknown how her efforts will effect what's left of the race.

    Crysils:

    Element: Earth

    Traits: Tough, Calm, Friendly, and Protective.

    Overview:
    The Crysils are an ancient and peaceful race. They tend to live deep in mountain ranges, and rarely show themselves to the other races. Though when they do let themselves be seen, they are friendly people.
    The Crysils are made up of living crystals. They do not have a set form, and usually take the form of whatever they want. As long as a handful of the crystals stay alive, Crysils can rebuild themselves from surrounding earth elements. As such, many Crysils have been mistaken for golems. For Crysils mostly form into near golem like forms and stand still for hours. but there are a few Crysils who do not function like the rest. Instead they take near human form. The often make themselves a unique form to provide themselves with their own identify. Most of these human form Crysils are so perfect in their transformation that they can mimic even blood. Thus they are good at living amongst the races in peace.
    While the golem type Crysils are silent, protective beings. Humanoid Crysils can feel emotions, and think like the other races. These are the Crysils who journey out into the world. Most have perfect human disguises, but a few have crystal coloured hair and/or eyes. The crystal colours are ranged and varied, and Crysils can change the colour at will. Some change it when feeling different emotions. Some chose a colour and leave it. Others subconsciously keep changing the colour in a continuous varying pattern.
    While golem Crysils get their energy from the earth and sun. Humanoid Crysils can eat like normal beings, as well as get it from the earth and sun. A unique ability that only the humanoid Crysils have.
    Crysils are born with the ability to understand general rules to communication and feelings. Thus Crysils aging is greatly different then other races, for they do not have an infancy age, or an elder age. As such, Crysils learn from experiences, and that what shapes what they become.
    For Example, Kaia was born with the knowledge and ability to speak human tongue. She also was able to understand human feelings, and how they act. So with this in account, when Kaia was born, she was equal to a human child of 12.
    It's unknown how this process occurs, since this happens even when the parents didn't know the information. but one theory is that the earth itself passes this information to the child. Since the earth is everywhere at once, each birth is given different information.
    Because of the general hiding of the Crysils, their age and birthrate are completely unknown. No one knows how many exist, not even their own race. But since they live in perfect unison with nature, they are not seen as a threat of any kind.

    Future:
    Since the Crysils rarely interact with other races, they will continue to live on, unless a race hunts them to extinction. But even then the Crysils could use their transformation skills to survive. So it's believed they will live on.

    Hitaro:

    Element: Earth

    Traits: Small, Helpful, Weak, and Ethereal.

    Overview:
    Also known as Animal spirits or sprites, this race is in between realms of existence. It part animal, part spirit, and part ghost. They often take the form of smaller animals or miniature versions of animals. They are smart and intuitive. They can sense people's general feelings, and instantly tell what a person's true motives are. They love to help kind people, and they tend to focus on sustaining nature.

    Future:
    It is believed they have been on the planet since the start of life, and will continue to exist long after the other races are gone. They are known as caretakers, as they look after the planet.

    Vampire:

    Element: Blood

    Traits: Plague, Animalistic, Uncontrollable, and Blood Thirsty.

    Overview:
    Vampires are the one of the rarest races on the planet. It's believed there are less then 400.
    It is unknown exactly how the race began, but it's believed to start from a mutation of a parasite. Once the Parasite had combined with the blood of a humanoid, it mutated into a bacteria. This bacteria turned weak-minded victims into mindless cannibals and savages.
    On the other hand, it turned strong minded beings, into Vampires. They developed a thirst for blood. They do not need much blood to survive, and often don't choose to kill their victims. It's said that a vampire bite will turn it's victim into one as well, but this is not the case. The Vampire bacteria is only transferred is a bitten victim digests it. In other words, the victim must drink the blood of the vampire of the one who bite them, in order to become one. Besides the thirst for blood, other abilities unlock in vampires, and vary from each other. The most common are agility, speed, accuracy, fast healing and night vision. And the main ability that entices new vampires, is the longevity it offers. Vampires can live for millennia. This long life is what some seek to become one.
    Vampire often have weaknesses for silver and sunlight, but this also varies for each one.

    Future:
    Said to exist during the Draconis Reign, and always having number that never exceeded 2000, it is believed they will exist until the other races vanish.

    Draconis:

    Element: Poison

    Traits: Kind, Compassionate, Strong, and Vengeful.

    Overview:
    An ancient race, that lived before the elves. The first ones to control the planet. They are also known as the ancients, by the current races. They are believed to be extinct. They are known for the technology they left behind. Mechanisms that use mana to control objects. Besides the evidence of ruins and artifacts, not much is known about this race. But it's said they had average life spans of about 4000 years.

    Future:
    The only known Draconis left in existence, is Tyson Aerfeld. It is unknown what will become of him, but it is believed another pure bred Draconis will never again exist.

    Dragon:

    Element: Metal

    Traits: Strong, Lonely, Defensive, and Wise.

    Overview:
    It's unknown how long dragons existed on the planet. But myth and lore tell that it's as old as the Draconis Race. Dragons are a independent species. The only time two spend time together is during mating season. Which is every 200 years for them. Dragons rarely interact with any race, or their own kin. This eventually leads them to be known as monsters guarding something. They once were hunted for sport, until they no longer could be found. A few dragons survived, but none made an effort to revive their race. They kept with the 200 year mating season.
    Dragons come in all colours, and change colour of the course of their life. The last colour a dragon turns is silver, and that's when it's most powerful. Just before it's life ends, it takes to the sky, to try and find something evil to destroy.
    It is unknown why they do this. Few dragons can speak languages, and fewer are willing to.

    Future:
    It seems unless Dragons themselves, find a reason to increase their numbers, they will eventually die away. The dragons remain in isolation even if their heart become heavy from loneliness. All seem fated to live thousands of years, just to die alone.

    Breeds:

    Element: Lightening

    Traits: Playful, Vengeful, In-tune, and Peaceful.

    Overview:
    It's believed that Breeds are evolved forms of animals. That a small group of them evolved without the other animals, and gained a humanoid form. For example, Fox-Breed shows the characteristics of foxes, yet foxes still exist within the world.
    Breeds have natural abilities to manipulate matter and mana that the other races cannot. They can temporarily grow or shrink objects, and perform magic of unknown elements. Most Breeds have the ability to shape shift into a version of the animal that represents their breed.
    While the other races themselves don't investigate this race. It is believed by a few that, some sort of time portal opened up long ago, that breeds came to this time period from. So the theory is they are from the future, when animals had evolved to the same level as the other races.
    Well each breed usually represents an animal of the same traits, some breeds cannot be explained. An example is Flame Breed. Which seems to be part living flame.
    Their life spans are so varied a known age range is impossible to determine.

    Future:
    While rare in numbers. Each breed seems capable of holding it's own and living a continued existence. But in theory, even if they all die out, they'll return in the far future.

    Fox Breed:

    Overview:
    Considered one of the most beautiful breeds, they share traits with foxes. In theory Fox Breed is the future evolutionary step for foxes.
    Fox breed are born carefree, and playful. They only change personality as they grow up. All have good agility, speed, and cunning. One magic only this breed has is called Foxfire. It is a blue flame, that is said to be a physical manifestation of their combined soul and mana. Most Fox Breeds have shape-shifting that allows them to take any form. They are the only race of Breeds that are known to be capable of complete transformations.
    There is an even rarer type of Fox Breed known as the silver fox. It is a breed that has silver fur, and eyes. Possessing incredible beauty and strength. These foxes are born from regular fox breeds, and are sacred within their own race. Silver fox children are born with a normal fox breed appearance, unless a silver breeds with another silver. It's believe that with each passing silver, their kids make the race better in some way.

    Half Breeds:

    Element: None

    Traits: Varies

    Overview:
    Half breeds are not related to breeds. They are related to any race currently on the planet. They are children born of two different race parents. They are half one race, and half another. While they possess capabilities from both their parent races, there is much prejudiced against them, and many grow up in anger. Half breeds are considered the strongest beings, for controlling powers from two races in unison. It's quite possible they are the future for the races.

    Future:
    As long as there are two races in the world, half breeds are believe to exist.

    Half Demons:

    Element: none

    Traits: Hateful, Unbelieving, Strong, and Lonely.

    Overview:
    The most common half demons are ones that are half human, and half demon. They possess the abilities and traits of both races. They are shunned from birth, as monsters and are often betrayed by untrusting people. They often become hateful of the race that grow up with. They like traveling alone, and rarely stay in the same place for long.
    Though varied, they often retain a feature of the demon who was their parent. Such as a tail, wings, or horns. Though some are born and look like humans.

    Future:
    As long as Demons and another race exist, Half Demons will also exist.

    Half Elves:

    Element: None

    Traits: Kind, Smart, Reliable, and Trustworthy.

    Overview:
    The most common Half Elf is one born of a Human and Elf. They are often raised by elves, and have good childhoods. They possess the capability for higher understanding of magics. They are often smart and friendly. They are the only Half Breed Race that has respect in the world.

    Future:
    As long as Elves and another race exist, Half Elves will also exist.

    Humes

    Element: none

    Traits: varies

    Overview:
    Humes are known as any half breed that is born with human as one of their parents, or grandparents. Since these half breeds are so varied, it's hard to have proper information on them.

    Future:
    As long as Humans and another race exist, Humes will also exist.

    Races Explained Empty Other Races

    Demon Seeds

    Element: unknown

    Traits: Hate, Darkness, Demonic, and Vengeful.

    Overview:
    Demon seeds are an experiment. They are a parasitic form of demon existence that is inserted into a being. The race was created by a being known as the Betrayer. Demon seeds slowly corrupt their host, and slowly turn them into a demonic being of unknown power. Demon Seeds destroy a person's mind, and take over the body. Anyone with a demon is is doomed to this fate, if not stopped before a certain point. It is unknown how many demon seeds there are, but they are very rare.

    Future:
    Depending on the actions of the Betrayer, Demons Seeds could always exist, or disappear. It's believed that the betrayer's ultimate goal is to create a new race that destroys all others, and then turn themselves into one as well.

    Sins:

    Element: Death

    Traits: Power, Hate, Chaotic, and Untrustworthy.

    Overview:
    There are eight known Sins in existence. Each represents something considered certain in the world. Such as Darkness, Destiny, and Fate. Each Fate has a corresponding weapon, that holds the other half of their power. It's unknown how this relationship works, but at a point in time, Sins were stripped of their weapons. They have been searching for them for a long time.
    Their origin is unknown, and is believed to never be known.
    Sins are powerful, and usually hate all other livings beings, even those of their own race. They are incapable of having children, and doomed to live an almost unending existence. It is unknown how long they live.

    Future:
    Unknown.

    Summons:

    Element: varies

    Traits: Helpful, Strong, Guardians, and Ethereal.

    Overview:
    Beings born of high concentrations. They take on the care of an element when born, and try to protect the planet in every way possible.
    At the beginning of life on the planet, during the Great Being of Mana's orbit. Ten summon Spirits were left behind by the Great Being, before it left into space, to never return. These ten summons represented all that was needed for life on the planet. They were the chosen guardians of the world.
    When Mana concentration reaches a certain point, the likelihood of a summon being born increases. Through natural and unnatural methods, new summons were born and took place alongside the ten to help defend the world.
    These beings are spirit like, and cannot interact directly with the world. Only indirectly. That is until the summoner's were born. Summoner's were able to concentrate summons' into a physical manifestation. This allow them to harness the power of summons as equals. The two beings cooperated and a system was set up.
    This Dias system acted as a system of dais in which pacts with summons could be made, this allowed for summoner's to make pacts and then summon the summons of those pacts.

    Future:
    As long as Mana exists, Summons will form and live on.

    Dark Summons:

    Element: Varies

    Traits: Varies, and Ethereal.

    Overview:
    Twelve are in known existence. They once were summons, but they turned their back on the guardian ship they were meant to have. So through an unknown series of events, a separate dais system for them was set up. In return, anyone could make a pact with a dark summon through a blood pact, which uses a person's soul as the connection to make the pact. Dark Summons can only have one pact, and that last until the death of the pact maker.
    They are often hate-filled and mean people. It is unknown why they turned their back on their brethren's job.

    Future:
    It is unknown what could happen to them.

    Races Explained Empty Upper Plane

    Angels:

    Element: Light

    Traits: Guardian-Like, Just, Content, and Protective.

    Overview:
    Beings from the Upper Plane. They were once known as saviors to the races of the planet. The angels once took it upon themselves to set the world straight, and many praised them, but eventually the races thought they were going too far, and eventually war broke out, which led the angels to retreat back to the Upper Plane.
    Angels consider themselves the guardians of any existence, and are willing to go to any lengths to keep life alive. Their main focus is on keeping the Lower Realm from taking over the Middle Realm.

    Future:
    Angels are said to have always existed, and believed to exist for as long as the Upper Plane does.

    Fallen Angels:

    Element: Light

    Traits: Varies

    Overview:
    Most Fallen Angels are ones that turned their backs on the mission of the Upper Plane. Thusly they were stripped of their wings, and sent to live the rest of their life on the Middle Plane. Some Fallen Angels turn evil, while most remain neutral. Depending on their actions on the Middle Plane, some Fallen are asked to come back to the Upper Plane, in hopes they will come with them during the next Plane Shift.

    Future:
    Fallen Angels will always exist, as long as at least one angel is willing to go against orders.

    Archangels

    Element: Light

    Traits: Altruistic, Righteous, Devoted

    Overview:
    One step above normal Angels, Archangels are powerful, yet will rarely abuse their power in any situation. Given the more radical missions, it is important that an Archangel will not defy orders, thus, they are chosen very carefully. When an Angel has proven him or herself, a ritual takes place in which all of a normal Angel's abilities are enhanced, such as thought process, strength, mana power, and so on. This is known as the Divine Oath Rite. After the rite is finished, the Angel is considered an Archangel.

    Future: Archangels will continue to flourish as more is learned about the three planes. Eventually, the number of Archangels may even surpass the number of normal Angels.

    Seraphs

    Element: Light

    Traits: Varies

    Overview: Not to be confused with council Archangels, Seraphs are a step higher than even Archangels. They rarely reveal themselves in any plane, but they are constantly at work, whether it be military, or containment in the Lower Plane. No Seraphs have been identified yet.

    Future: Unknown, too little is known about Seraphs for any predictions to be made just yet.

    Overview: Normal Demons that were sent into exile by the Angels for committing a heinous crime of some sort. Very few are even slightly compassionate, and will kill or steal without a second thought. They are contained in the 7th circle of the Lower Plane.

    Future: Hell Demons will most likely never diminish; though their conditions are harsh, it is highly unlikely that deaths will outweigh their birthrate.

    Risen Demons:

    Element: Darkness

    Traits: Self-righteous, Vindictive, also varies with some

    Overview: Demons that have either been released from the Lower Plane as a result of penance for their crimes, or those that have escaped from the Lower Plane, and plan on turning their backs on the savage demon lifestyle. Some continue to live their lives normally, while others plan on redeeming for their past crimes.

    Future: Though scarce in number, Risen Demons do not appear to have any sign of going extinct. However, it also unknown if they will grow rapidly or at a slow rate.
